1. Who We Are / Data Controller

BotRiders (trading name) is operated by (Botriders) Startup Development Studio DOO, registered in Montenegro under company registration and PIB number 03216845, with a registered office at 26 Novembar BB, Ulcinj, Montenegro.

We are the data controller of the personal data you provide when using botriders.com and our services.

2.3 Request, quote and service data

When you request a route, quote or service, we may record the request ID, request text, selected services, service mode, estimated value, attribution fields you consented to share, and request status. This is stored on a DigitalOcean droplet in the LON1 United Kingdom region.

2.4 Payment data

Online payment is not currently active. BotRiders does not ask for or store card numbers, CVV codes, or equivalent payment credentials. This policy will be updated before a payment provider is activated.

3. How We Collect Data

  • Directly from you — when you enter a route request, fill in forms, request a quote, register an account, or contact us.
  • Automatically — server logs collect security data, and analytics tools collect technical and behavioural data only after consent (see Section 8).
  • From third-party services — when you log in via a third-party authentication provider (if applicable), limited profile data may be received with your consent.

We may also disclose data where required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of BotRiders or others.

7. International Data Transfers

Some of our subprocessors are based outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where data is transferred to countries that do not have an adequate level of data protection recognised by the European Commission, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or other appropriate safeguards as permitted under GDPR.

Montenegro is not an EU or EEA member state, but has data protection legislation that aligns with GDPR principles. We follow GDPR standards as a baseline for all data we process, regardless of where our customers are located.

8. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies on botriders.com. Please see our Cookie Policy for full details.

In brief:

  • Essential cookies — required for the website to function (e.g. session authentication). No consent required.
  • Analytics cookies — Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site. Requires consent in jurisdictions where the ePrivacy Directive applies (EU/EEA).

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In Montenegro, this is the Agency for Personal Data Protection and Free Access to Information (AZLP).

10. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. Material changes will be communicated to registered users by email.
